GAME LEADERS

The Warriors finished off a four-game season sweep of the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night with a 126-113 victory at Oracle Arena. Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each connected on three 3-pointers apiece, and the Dubs led by as many as 30 points before the Rockets made it more respectable in the fourth quarter. Thompson would lead Golden State with 27 points, while Stephen Curry notched another double-double with 22 points and 10 assists. The Warriors have now won 17-straight home games, marking the longest home winning streak in franchise history.

After the Warriors blew the Rockets out on their own home court just five days prior, Houston was expected to come out with redemption on their mind, and James Harden obliged with a three-pointer on the game’s opening possession. The Rockets’ standout shooting guard would go on to score the first nine points of the game for Houston, while the Warriors’ backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would combine to score 10 of Golden State’s first 11. A Curry layup with 3:39 remaining in the frame would give the Dubs their largest lead of the quarter at 30-18, but the Rockets would close it out on an 11-2 run to cut the Warriors’ lead to 32-29 heading into the second quarter.
