Stephen Curry and the Dubs tipped off the 2015-16 season by receiving their NBA Championship rings on Opening Night at Oracle Arena…

…Curry went on to post 40 points on Opening Night against the visiting New Orleans Pelicans in a 111-95 win to open the season.

The Dubs would go on to win their following 23 games to open the season 24-0, the best start to a season in NBA and professional sports history. Over that span, Curry averaged 32.5 points on 46.5 percent shooting including seven games in which he scored 40-or-more points, and even a 50-spot against the New Orleans Pelicans on Oct. 31, 2015.

Two of those 40-points games came in back-to-back games as well. The first was a 40-point, eight-3-pointer night in Charlotte against the Hornets on Dec. 2, 2015.

Three nights later on Dec. 5, 2015, Curry would improve on those numbers with 44 points on nine made treys against the Toronto Raptors to narrowly win 112-109.

Curry showed off his range against the Indiana Pacers on Jan 22., 2020. The reigning MVP posted a game-high 39 points to go with 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Besides making eight shots from beyond the arc, he added two half-court and beyond shots to the highlight mix (though one was released after the buzzer and did not count).

His second 50-point game of the season came on Feb. 3, 2016, when his 11 made three-pointers on just 15 attempts (73 percent) propelled the Dubs to a 134-121 win over the Washington Wizards.

Curry would drop another 50-spot on 10 made treys on the Orlando Magic on Feb. 25, 2016, for a 130-114 road win. That would serve as a precursor for the following game…

In the Dubs’ subsequent game on Feb. 27, Curry went off in record-breaking fashion in the squad’s overtime 121-118 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. His 12th trey of the game sealed the win while also tying Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall for most three-pointers in a single game.

On Mar. 7, 2016, Curry became the first player to each reach 300 3-pointers in a season with seven treys and 41 points in a 119-113 win over the Orlando Magic.

Curry ended the 2015-16 campaign with a bang: besides posting 46 points in just under 30 minutes on the court, he finished with 10 treys in the game. That would be enough for him to reach to another milestone with 402 3-pointers made, an NBA record that still stands to this day.
