On the eve of Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals, the Warriors held a practice at Oracle Arena.

Along with practicing at the home arena, the NBA Finals brings with it a plethora of media obligations. Check out what some of the players and coaches had to say going into the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry: We have a lot of confidence right now and we’ve been through a lot in the last week and we’ve been challenged physically and mentally.

Coach Kerr: Steph is extremely competitive in a very humble way. He doesn’t have to say anything. He does his talking through his play, basically.

Stephen Curry: We’re prepared for pretty much anything and have a pretty good game plan going into Game 1.

Stephen Curry: I know we’re a better team than we were last year, just off experience and what we’ve been through in this post season, better equipped to kind of handle the scene of The Finals and all that’s kind of thrown at you when you get here.

Klay Thompson: That’s why it’s so fun to win here because people really appreciate you when you play hard and you win for them. They show love, and that goes a long way, and it makes us play even harder.

Klay Thompson: I think we’re way better equipped this year than last year for what we’re going to see and what we’re going to go through, especially mentally too.

Draymond Green: I think at this point every year, nobody’s worried about being worn out. You kind of found a whole new source of energy when you get to The Finals.

Draymond Green: It’s an amazing feeling to be back in this position. It hasn’t been easy, that’s for sure, but this is what you work for every single year. This is our goal to repeat.

Andre Iguodala: They’re at full strength, and we’ve got to be ready to make multiple efforts to try to get stops against a deadly team like that.

Andre Iguodala: When we communicate and we front on guys a certain way or we scheme the right way or we’re communicating, that’s when we have the most success, and that’s when you see percentages of guys go down.

Harrison Barnes: This year it was a little different being the defending champs. There was expectation for us to be here. We ourselves wanted to get to this point. Now that we got here, it’s like, OK, there are still four more games to win.

Harrison Barnes: We’ve grown so much. Last year’s experience of winning the championship helped us to understand what we need to do to win, and also just love that experience. Everyone wants to continue to win again and have the team get better.

Coach Kerr: I think we have more confidence, having been through the whole run last year and then what we’ve gone through this year and the adversity we faced with injuries.

Coach Kerr: Anderson and Leandro are fantastic. Great teammates. They bring a lot of joy to our locker room, a lot of humor, a lot of energy.

Andrew Bogut: It will be an exciting series. It’s what everyone wanted, to have the rematch. They’re playing very good basketball. We had to fight our way here. It’s going to be an exciting series.
