Franco Finn, a.k.a. The Warriors "Hype Man"
Host in his 8th season with the Warriors
Currently in his eighth season with the team, Franco Finn, a.k.a. The Warriors' "Hype Man", is a native of San Francisco and can be seen on the court in front of thousands of fans, helping to bring a unique brand of entertainment to Warriors' home games. He introduces the Warriors’ starting lineup before tip-off at every home game and when it’s time to get the fans on their feet, Franco takes the mic and energizes the crowd. His energy and positive attitude are contagious, and he definitely helps bring liveliness and excitement to every game.
At each home game beginning an hour before tip-off, Franco hosts the live in-arena, pre-game show called WarriorsTV, seen throughout the arena on the television monitors and the large video board at center court. Throughout the game during the time outs, you might see Franco at center court getting the crowd pumped up for various contests, in the stands, on the scoreboard or even on the concourse.
From 2003-05, Franco was also the host for the nationally syndicated magazine-style show STIR-TV (AZN Network / KTSF-TV). From 1999-2006, he was Radio Disney AM 1310's on-air personality "Freestyle Franco" and from 2004-06, he served as a feature reporter and fill-in sports anchor for KGO Newstalk AM 810.
In addition to being the emcee for the Golden State Warriors, Franco currently hosts his own TV segment called The FINN Zone, featured on The Raiders Report Show, seen on the NFL Network/ComcastSportsnet. On the radio, he is also known as "Franco On the Go", the man-on-the-street and sidekick for the Movin' 99.7 FM morning show with Baltazar & Maria.
