Wolves Get Back On Track In Utah
The Wolves snapped a two-game losing streak on Monday night, taking down the Jazz in Utah, 109-88.
The trio of Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler and Jeff Teague combined for 67 points, and the Wolves were able to come away with one win on a three-game West Coast road trip.
Towns led the Wolves with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Teague added 22 points, 12 coming from the 3-point line. Butler scored 21 points and had 10 assists. Taj Gibson added to the double-double party, scoring 15 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins rounded things out with 11 points.
Rookie Donovan Mitchell led Utah with 24 points. Rodney Hood added 16 points, while Jonas Jerebko and Thabo Sefolosha scored 13 each.
The Wolves move to 8-5 on the season, tied for third in the West. Utah falls to 6-8, 10th in the West.

With 7:28 left in the first quarter, Towns blocked Mitchell. Towns dished it to Teague, who dished it to Butler and then back to Teague. After running the length of the court, Towns leaped for the alley-oop to put the Wolves up 13-3.
The Numbers Game
- The Wolves shot an impressive 10-for-20 from the 3-point line.
- Former Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio struggled for Utah, shooting just 1-for-7 from the field and 0-for-6 from the 3-point line.
- Minnesota outrebounded Utah 40-31.
Player Of The Game
Towns had his 10th double-double of the season, finishing with 24 points, 13 rebounds, one steal, one block and one assist. He shot an efficient 10-for-15 from the field and 4-for-6 from the 3-point line.
The Wolves head back home to take on the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center on Wednesday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Fox Sports North and 830 WCCO.
