Timberwolves and Lynx Name David King as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships
Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx named David King as the organization’s Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. King will oversee the partnership sales and activation areas across the portfolio of franchises including the Timberwolves, Lynx and T-Wolves Gaming.
“This is an important time within our organization as our NBA, WNBA, and NBA 2K League teams are each entering an important period of growth and relevancy,” said Timberwolves and Lynx Chief Operating Officer Ryan Tanke. “With our multi-property organization offering opportunities that span locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, we know David will lead his team to create innovative ways that connect partners to Timberwolves, Lynx and T-Wolves Gaming fans in the Twin Cities and throughout the world.”
King recently served as the organization’s Director of Partnership Sales and has been with the Timberwolves and Lynx since 2014. Prior to Minnesota, King was a part of the industry-recognized sales and service team at the Oakland Athletics. As King assumes his new role, he will lead a team that will build upon a strong foundation of partners including Target, Mayo Clinic and Fitbit.
