Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has signed forward T.J. Warren to a 10-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Warren, 6-8, has appeared in 374 career games (236 starts), averaging 14.6 points on 50.6% shooting, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 27.4 minutes per game with the Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets. He scored a career-high 53 points on 20-of-29 shooting, including 9-of-12 from deep on Aug. 8, 2020 vs. Philadelphia, becoming the fourth player in Pacers history to score 50+ points in a game.
The North Carolina State University product has seen action in 10 career playoff games (six starts) with the Pacers and Suns, averaging 9.6 points on 43.7%shooting, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
Most recently, Warren split time last season with the Nets and Suns where he appeared in 42 games, averaging 7.5 points on 48.9% shooting and 2.9 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game.
The Durham, N.C. native played two seasons at North Carolina State, appearing in 70 games (49 starts), owning career averages of 18.5 points on 55.5% shooting, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 31.2 minutes per game.
Warren will wear No. 24 with the Timberwolves.
