Timberwolves Celebrate 35th Anniversary Season; Unveil Classic Edition Uniforms, Court and Logo

Classic Edition pays homage to team’s 1989-1996 white uniforms with green and blue trim

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced their 35th anniversary season and unveiled their Classic Edition uniforms, court and 35th season logo design. All will be featured throughout the 2023-24 season. The new uniforms will debut on Nov. 8 when the Wolves face the New Orleans Pelicans at Target Center, the anniversary of the Timberwolves 1989 Home Opener.

The Classic Edition uniform will celebrate the team’s heritage in honor of their 35th season. Engineered for today’s game, the 2023-24 Classic Edition uniform features a modern cut that’s crafted from contemporary athletic performance materials. It sports a retro aesthetic, designed to look the same as the inaugural uniforms worn from 1989-1996. The home for Classic Edition content can be found at timberwolves.com/classic and the team will continue to release Classic Edition content all season long to celebrate 35 years of Timberwolves basketball.
