Timberwolves and FOX Sports North Announce 2019-20 Telecast Schedule

All 82 Timberwolves regular season games to be televised on regional or national TV for fourth consecutive year

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves, in partnership with FOX Sports North, today announced their full television broadcast schedule for the 2019-20 regular season. For the fourth consecutive year, all 82 Timberwolves regular season games will be televised on regional or national television. The network’s broadcast schedule includes all 82 regular season games and two preseason contests.

FOX Sports North’s regular season coverage tips off on Wednesday, October 23 for the season opener in Brooklyn. On Sunday, October 27, FOX Sports North will televise the home opener against the Miami Heat, including a special one-hour edition of “Wolves Live” beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT. 

Nationally recognized broadcast partners Dave Benz and Jim Petersen return for their eighth consecutive year of calling Timberwolves basketball together. Wolves broadcasts will also feature reporting from Marney Gellner and Lea B. Olsen. Newcomer Annie Sabo will host “Wolves Live” before and after every game featuring analysis from Kevin Lynch and Quincy Lewis, as well as five-time WNBA Champion Rebekkah Brunson. Additionally, Tom Hanneman, who has been associated with the Timberwolves organization since 1989, will be contributing to a variety of Wolves programming.

In addition, the network’s broadcast schedule contains two Wolves preseason games, including at home against Maccabi Haifa on Sunday, October 13 and on the road against Milwaukee on Thursday, October 17.

FOX Sports North will preview the season on Monday, October 21 with “Timberwolves Town Hall” which will feature live discussions with Head Coach Ryan Saunders, President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas and Chief Executive Officer Ethan Casson. The hour-long special will premiere at 7:00 p.m. CT. 

All games televised on FOX Sports North will be available in high definition and will be streamed live via the FOX Sports GO app. FOX Sports GO is currently available on mobile and tablet devices, including iOS and Android as well as foxsportsgo.com. FOX Sports GO is also available on connected devices including, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku Players and Roku TV, and Xbox One.
