Timberwolves and Bally Sports North Announce 2023-24 Broadcast Schedule 

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves, in partnership with Bally Sports North, today announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2023-24 regular season. For the eighth consecutive year, all regular season games will be televised on regional or national television. The network’s broadcast schedule includes 80 regular season games and two preseason games, which will be televised on Bally Sports North and Bally Sports North Extra. All Timberwolves games on the network will also be streamed on the Bally Sports app and Bally Sports+.  

Bally Sports North’s regular season coverage tips off on Wednesday, Oct. 25 for the season opener as the Wolves visit the Toronto Raptors. As the Wolves return to Target Center for the Home Opener on Oct. 28 against the Miami Heat, coverage will include a one-hour edition of “Wolves Live”. 

Ahead of the 2023-24 regular season, Bally Sports North will broadcast two preseason games including the team’s lone home preseason matchup against Maccabi Ra'anana of the Israeli National League on Tuesday, Oct. 17 as well as when the Wolves visit the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Oct. 19.  

Timberwolves TV broadcasts will feature play-by-play announcer Michael Grady, who enters his second season calling Wolves action, along with veteran color analyst Jim Petersen, who returns for his 26th season. Grady and Petersen will be joined by Katie Storm and Lea B. Olsen sharing sideline reporting duties. Marney Gellner returns as the host of “Wolves Live” before and after every regular-season game featuring analysis from current Minnesota Lynx assistant coach Rebekkah Brunson and Kevin Lynch. 

The Wolves+ podcast will return for its fourth season and will also air on Bally Sports North. Wolves+ features entertaining discussions with players and coaches and how they spend their time off the court, as well as front office executives. This year’s programming will include exclusive sit-down interviews and special programming throughout the season. 

The Timberwolves will be featured on 10 nationally televised games, including two on TNT (Thursday, Jan. 18 vs. Memphis and Tuesday, March 12 at LA Clippers), three on ESPN (Wednesday, Feb. 28 vs. Memphis; Sunday, March 10 at L.A. Lakers and Wednesday, April 10 at Denver) while the remaining five will be on NBATV (Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Philadelphia; Monday, Jan. 1 at New York; Tuesday, March 19 vs. Denver; Friday, April 5 at Phoenix and Sunday, April 7 at L.A. Lakers). The Timberwolves can be heard on ESPN Radio on Thursday Jan. 18 against Memphis. 

Minnesota Timberwolves games on Bally Sports North will also stream live on the Bally Sports app, available on mobile and tablet devices (including iOS and Android), connected devices and BallySports.com when fans authenticate using their pay-TV credentials. Timberwolves games will also be available on Bally Sports+, the standalone streaming subscription service available now from Bally Sports.
