Timberwolves Acquire Future Pick and Cash Considerations from Indiana 

Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has acquired a second-round pick of the 2026 draft and cash considerations from the Indiana Pacers in exchange for the draft rights of the 48th pick forward Kendall Brown in the 2022 NBA Draft.  

Brown, a 6-8 forward, averaged 9.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game as a freshman at Baylor University. The Minnesota native started all 34 games for the Bears and connected on 58.4% from the field on 132-of-226 shooting, helping Baylor be named Big 12 regular-season co-champion and earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. He was named Battle 4 Atlantis All-Tournament Team, connecting on 16-of-21 shooting and averaging 12.0 points over the tournament to lift the Bears to a championship. The 19-year-old became the first player in Baylor history to be named Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
