Following the lead of Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings, Timberwolves Head Coach Rick Adelman has teamed up with the Lynx for Game 2 of the WNBA Finals, presented by Boost Mobile.

In support of the Lynx, Adelman has purchased 500 upper level tickets for Wednesday’s Game 2 to give away to fans for free. Beginning Monday at 8 a.m., the first 250 fans that call in to 612-673-8400 will have the opportunity to receive a pair of free tickets courtesy of Rick Adelman.

“The Lynx have had a tremendous playoff run to return to the WNBA Finals, and now have the chance of making history as repeating as champions,” said Timberwolves Head Coach Rick Adelman. “It is great to see the amount of success they have had, and the atmosphere in Target Center has been outstanding. They'll need the help of everyone in Target Center to give them the biggest home court advantage in the WNBA, and I encourage all basketball fans to come out for Game 2 on Wednesday night.”

The Lynx finished the regular season a WNBA-best 27-7 for the second consecutive year, earning the first overall seed in the WNBA and homecourt advantage throughout the 2012 WNBA Playoffs, presented by Boost Mobile. After sweeping the Los Angeles Sparks in the Western Conference Finals, the Lynx dropped Game 1 of the WNBA Finals, presented by Boost Mobile. Game 2 is at Target Center on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.
