21st Annual Taste of the Timberwolves Event Set for March 1 at Target Center

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Timberwolves FastBreak Foundation is hosting the 21st annual Taste of the Timberwolves on Tuesday, March 1 from 6-9 p.m. at Target Center. The fundraising gala offers guests an opportunity to interact with Wolves players, sample a variety of local cuisine and enjoy live entertainment, all while supporting community programs that positively impact youth from around the Upper Midwest. The evening begins with Wolves players mingling with and serving attendees food from a variety of area restaurants. Taste attendees also have the opportunity to participate in the event’s silent and live auctions for a chance to take home unique sports memorabilia and win one-of-a-kind Wolves experiences including:

  • Road trip with the team – trip for two with the Timberwolves on March 24-25 as the team travels for away game in Washington. Package includes flight on the team charter, accommodations at team hotel and two lower level tickets to each game.
  • NBA All-Star 2017 experience in Charlotte – trip for two to the NBA All-Star weekend’s festivities in Charlotte in February 2017. Includes round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for three nights. 
  • Customized handcrafted wood bar and chairs – Timberwolves themed handcrafted wood bar with chairs along with autographed memorabilia from Ricky Rubio, Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns and Zach LaVine.

Following the tasting, a live program is held, which will include a first-hand look at the work the FastBreak Foundation is doing in the community and how their support is changing the lives of Minnesota youth.KARE 11 lead anchor Julie Nelson will serve as the emcee for this year’s event.
