Beyond performing at all Thunder home games, Thunder Girls are active ambassadors in the Oklahoma community at over 160 events every season. To request the Thunder Girls for your event, please click here to complete and submit the form.

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL: Very cliché- but I would have to say my mom. She is the most hard working individual I've ever known and has taught me to be resilient and always give my absolute best effort in all I do. I would not be the person I am today without her.

FAVORITE HOBBY, OUTSIDE OF DANCING: Teaching young students. Also shopping. I’m a big believer in shop therapy.
TELL PEOPLE SOMETHING ABOUT THE THUNDER GIRLS OR THUNDER GIRLS PROGRAM THAT THEY MAY NOT KNOW: One of the more rewarding things about being a Thunder Girl is the personal growth required to do it. There is a lot of hard work and time requirements that no one else outside of the team sees. Coupled with the game and appearance schedule, at times being a Thunder Girl can put a lot of physical and emotional strain on us. However, it's all worth it because we are given the opportunity to make a difference in someone's day. It might be our 100th game, but it could be a fan's first and only game and that's makes it all worth it. Fans may think it's wonderful to take a picture with us, but I think it's an honor to be in a picture with them.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: Being part of a team. At any given point, I have 19 other sisters I can count on. We are always there for each other.
FAVORITE THUNDER GIRLS MOMENT OR MEMORY: My favorite memories are spent in the daily conversations I have with my teammates. They are my family. They are there for me when I'm down and are constantly making me smile.

PROUDEST MOMENT AND/OR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISMENT: Graduating college with honors and a double major, being awarded the Thunder Girls community service award, as well as making the Thunder Girls for a second season!
WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL: My mother is my greatest role model! She's brilliant, creative, gorgeous, and can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. She has helped me become the person I am today by continuously pushing me to my greatest potential as well as supporting me in all that I do. I wouldn't be where I am today without her and I'm extremely thankful to have her in my life.
YOUR FAVORITY CHARITY WORK/ORGANIZATION: THUNDER CARES!!! It’s so wonderful to be involved with an organization that has such a passion to give back to the community both locally and nationally.

We get to know each other personally and spend a lot of time together both during and outside of games, appearances, and practices to develop more of a sisterhood. We’re all friends and genuinely care about one another.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: In my opinion, it is getting to appear around the community and state of Oklahoma to help with volunteer programs and organizations. I love helping to make a difference and assisting in the growth of our state.

Some girls on our team get up at 5am to make it to the gym and work, followed by late night practices. I have never seen such amazing work ethic until I made this team.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: My teammates are the hardest working group of women I have ever met. Our schedules are insanely busy; some girls get up at 5 am for workouts, a full-time job, and then practice. I have never seen such amazing work ethic until I made this team!

WHAT ARE YOUR ASPIRATIONS:  To be able to look back on my life and have no regrets; to know that I lived my life to the fullest potential, and made an impact along that way.
PROUDEST MOMENT AND/OR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma with two degrees; Forensic Science and Strategic Communications.
WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL: My dad.  He is hands down my biggest fan and has taught me what it means to love selflessly, because he does so for me.  I'll always be a daddy's girl but I love you too, mom!
YOUR FAVORITE CHARITY WORK/ORGANIZATION:  The Bella Foundation; an Oklahoma City based non-profit organization created to assist low-income, elderly, or terminally ill pet owners with the cost of veterinary care when it cannot be afforded. Every year thousands of animals are euthanized or sent home to die because the people who love them cannot financially absorb the cost of veterinary care.
FAVORITE HOBBY, OUTSIDE OF DANCING: I enjoy being outside. Not quite sure if this counts as a hobby but in my downtime I like to sit on my porch with a cup of coffee and a book. 
FAVORITE FOOD: Mexican food, especially bean burritos!
TELL PEOPLE SOMETHING ABOUT THE THUNDER GIRLS OR THUNDER GIRLS PROGRAM THAT THEY MAY NOT KNOW:  The amount of passion that lies within every one of us. Being a Thunder Girl is so much deeper than just being a part of a dance team. We put in countless hours between practices, work outs, games, and community appearances, however, what we get in return is immeasurable.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: The number of lives I get the opportunity to make an impact on.  As a Thunder Girl we get to meet people from all walks of life and of all ages.  Even if all I can share is a smile, knowing that this experience allows me to potentially touch people’s lives in return changes mine. 
FAVORITE THUNDER GIRLS MOMENT OR MEMORY:  Traveling to Spain to represent the Thunder Girls at the Global Games in Madrid and Barcelona.  I never would have dreamed that dancing for the Thunder Girls would have taken me across the world.  I have had the honor of traveling to the Philippines, China, and Spain throughout my time on this team.  I get chills knowing that this is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Outside of practices, games, and workouts, we are also giving back to the community by attending approximately 200 appearances throughout the community. 
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: Giving back to the community. Whether that be through appearances or just by simply putting a smile on a fans’ face, this job is so rewarding.

We spend more time together than we do our family or friends. BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: The best thing about being a Thunder Girl is getting to meet so many different people. We are constantly out in the community, and it is really exciting to get to meet people from all over who love the Thunder like I do!

PROUDEST MOMENT AND/OR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: I decided to start dancing again after taking a break for almost a decade. It was one of the hardest things I’ve done, but in making that decision I feel so accomplished and I have already started living out some of my biggest dreams!

FAVORITE FOOD: It’s so hard to pick just one because I love food! But if I had to pick one I would have to say funnel cake!
TELL PEOPLE SOMETHING ABOUT THE THUNDER GIRLS OR THUNDER GIRLS PROGRAM THAT THEY MAY NOT KNOW: There is a lot time and dedication that must be put in to making a great Thunder Girl. Not only do we spend time working out and practicing together, but we have to spend quite a bit of time outside of practice preparing ourselves.
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: Seeing familiar faces at games and establishing relationships with the awesome fans! It really is like a big family and makes being a part of game day entertainment something that is truly special.
FAVORITE THUNDER GIRLS MOMENT OR MEMORY: My favorite memory was traveling to Spain last season for the NBA global games! It was awesome to see Thunder fans there, even when they have their own home team!

BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: The best thing about being a Thunder Girl is getting to be apart of a team. These girls are all so incredible, and I'm thankful to be apart of such an amazing squad and organization.

Practices, workouts, appearances, and games on top of being either a student or working full time! It's a lot of time management but also a lot of fun!
BEST THING ABOUT BEING A THUNDER GIRL: The friendships and sisterhood that I have developed on the team. They are something that I will always cherish and these are the girls that I call my best friends!
