Thunder Announces 2012 Preseason Schedule

OKLAHOMA CITY, August 3, 2012 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will play a pair of home games at Chesapeake Energy Arena in addition to hosting contests in both Tulsa, OK, and Wichita, KS, as part of a seven-game preseason schedule leading up to the 2012-13 NBA regular season, the team announced today.

Oklahoma City opens the preseason with a two-game road trip beginning in Hidalgo, TX, versus the Houston Rockets at the State Farm Arena on Oct. 10 followed by a trip to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz on Oct. 12.

The Thunder returns to Chesapeake Energy Arena to face-off with the Charlotte Bobcats on Oct. 16 prior to their fourth annual preseason contest at the BOK Center in Tulsa on Oct. 19 versus the Phoenix Suns. Two nights later, the Thunder rounds out preseason play at Chesapeake Energy Arena with a match-up against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 21.

The Thunder concludes the preseason with a back-to-back set starting on Oct. 23 in Chicago versus the Bulls and the following night in Wichita to host the Dallas Mavericks at INTRUST Bank Arena.

The Oct. 24 game versus the Mavericks will be televised on FOX Sports Oklahoma. All of the preseason contests will be carried live on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS (98.1 FM) The Sports Animal in Oklahoma City.
