Update Regarding Thunder Tickets - June 4, 2020

As you have likely heard, the NBA has determined that in order to protect the health and safety of all involved throughout the league, the remaining 2019-20 regular-season and playoff games are now scheduled to be played in Orlando starting July 31, 2020.

While we are certainly excited to see this year’s team have the opportunity to play in Orlando, we are, of course, disappointed our fans won’t have the ability to enjoy the Thunder experience inside Chesapeake Energy Arena.

For those of you who might be wondering about our ticket policies, the following are the details of what we have in place:

  • The Thunder has communicated directly to Season Ticket Members, group ticket buyers and other fans who purchased tickets directly from the team for any of the eight relocated games via an email that was sent on May 6, 2020. For those of you who have received that email, we ask that you communicate directly with the Thunder representative outlined in the email.

The Thunder staff continues to work from their homes and are not in the office to answer inbound calls to the general office line or the 405-208-HOOP line. The majority of Thunder staff can be reached via their individual office lines which will be forwarded to their home office. It is our goal to function with minimal interruption but ask for your patience during this challenging time.

  • For fans who purchased tickets directly from Ticketmaster on a single game basis, you have had the ability since March 11, 2020, to contact Ticketmaster to request a refund for any of the eight relocated home games. To expedite your refund, we recommend accessing the Ticketmaster app, and requesting a refund via the self-service ‘Refund Request’ button. As of June 4, 2020, the Thunder has informed Ticketmaster that they may begin working on automatic refunds for the eight relocated games. This process could take several weeks due to the millions of refunds required throughout the country for all NBA games and other live events. No action is necessary at this time to automatically receive your refund.
  • For fans who purchased tickets from a source other than directly from the Thunder or Ticketmaster, we recommend you contact the seller directly. Since the only authorized seller of Thunder tickets is Ticketmaster, we are unable to comment about policies of other unauthorized resellers.

We ask all fans for their patience as we work through this situation and know that our goal is to assure you that you will never have to pay for a ticket for a game that was not played.
