Inaugural Thunder Ride and Bike Fest Features Mat Hoffman, BMX Stunt Show

OKLAHOMA CITY, Thursday, March 23, 2023 – The Oklahoma City Thunder is hosting its inaugural Thunder Ride and Bike Fest, Sunday April 2.  

Participants can bring their bike or rent one on site. Rumble the Bison and Thunder entertainers will be on hand to welcome riders before the ride at 2 p.m. The ride begins in Scissortail Park and will be a leisurely 10-mile cycle through downtown and the river trails. After the ride, Oklahoma’s own Mat Hoffman, six-time Summer X Games medalist, will host a BMX stunt show and bike demo. Also joining Hoffman are Kenny Belaey, UCI record holder, Terry Adams, Summer X Games gold medalist and Ryan Williams, Nitro Circus rider. 

After the ride and bike show, fans can meet and get autographs from the stunt riders and attend the Thunder vs. Suns game at 6 p.m. Bike valet will be available at the Paycom Center to keep bikes safe during the game.
