Thunder 2011 First Round Playoff Schedule Announced

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 14, 2011 – The fourth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder will match-up against the fifth-seeded Denver Nuggets in the First Round of the 2011 NBA Western Conference Playoffs, it was announced today.

With the Thunder holding the home-court advantage, the series versus the Nuggets will commence on Sunday, April 17 at 8:30 PM (CT) followed by Game 2 on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00 PM (CT) at the Oklahoma City Arena.

The series will then shift to Denver for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 will take place on Saturday, April 23 at 9:00 PM (CT) and Game 4 on Monday, April 25 at 9:30 PM (CT). If necessary, Games 5, 6, and 7 will be played at alternating sites beginning with a home contest on Wednesday, April 27 followed by Game 6 in Denver on Friday, April 29 and concluding with Game 7 in Oklahoma City on Sunday, May 1. The game times for Games 5, 6, and 7 will be determined once the games become necessary.

Games 1-4 will be broadcast nationally on TNT (Games 1, 2 and 4) and ESPN (Game 3). Additionally, all four games will be broadcast regionally on FS Oklahoma and all games can be heard on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS The Sports Animal.

A very limited number of single-game tickets for the Thunder’s first two home playoff games will go on sale via THUNDER.NBA.COM on Thursday, April 14 at 10 a.m. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets ONLINE ONLY. On April 14, look for the link to Ticketmaster at THUNDER.NBA.COM.
