Deonte Burton and Justin Patton Assigned to Oklahoma City Blue

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 10, 2020 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned guard Deonte Burton and center Justin Patton to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.

With the Blue, Burton has appeared in seven games (all starts) and is recording averages of 16.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.14 blocks in 35.5 minutes.

The Milwaukee native has played in 21 games with the Thunder this season, averaging 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per contest.

In 21 games (20 starts) with the Blue, Patton is averaging 10.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.71 blocks in 27.3 minutes per game, shooting 51.3 percent from the field.

The Creighton product has appeared in three games for the Thunder this season, scoring two points and grabbing four rebounds in 12 minutes of action. 

Both are expected to be in uniform tonight when the Blue takes on the Raptors 905 at 7 p.m. in the Cox Convention Center.
