All guests entering Paycom Center for Oklahoma City Blue games in November are required to present proof of receiving at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or provide a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours prior to the game. All fans coming to the games will be strongly encouraged to wear face masks unless actively eating or drinking in the arena.

Children ages 2 to 11, who are not yet eligible for the vaccination, will not need to show a negative test but will be required to wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking.

The policy will be constantly reviewed to determine the protocols for December and beyond, with that decision based on the status of COVID cases in our community at the time and the Blue’s commitment to protecting our fans and our community from the virus.

The Blue wants to make this health safety process as easy as possible for fans.

Bring a physical copy of your vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test to the arena to show staff prior to entering. Please note, this process will likely increase your wait time. A legible digital photo of the vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test will be accepted.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

COVID-19 tests may be taken beginning 72 hours prior to each game. No other time frame will be allowed. Home tests will not be accepted as proof of a negative test.

All tickets will be paperless to allow touchless scanning from mobile devices at entrances.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For games in November, the Blue will require most fans to be either fully or partially vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to the game.

We are working to streamline the process as much as possible. We encourage you to download your tickets in advance. We ask for your patience as we take these steps to provide a safe and healthy game night environment.

Masks are strongly encouraged for fans permitted into the building. Children ages 2 to 11 (who are unable to be vaccinated at this time) will be required to wear masks. All staff in the arena will be required to wear masks.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in our community and consult with our partners at OU Health and other health experts to determine the future of the policy for December and beyond. As of now, the vaccine/test options will be in effect until at least Nov. 14.

The Blue has implemented this policy for our games only. Decisions regarding other events rest with building management and organizers of those events.

The Blue respects these exemptions, and we will offer those fans the option of providing a negative test taken within 72 hours prior to the game.

The Oklahoma Department of Health allows you to access your vaccination records online. It will allow you to print your documentation as proof of vaccination. You can access it at the Health Department's website.

You can also contact your doctor, clinic, pharmacy or location where you received your vaccine to determine your options.

We advise you bring your printed vaccination card or test result with you as a backup.

The Blue will not provide on-site opportunities to receive vaccine shots or COVID testing opportunities at the arena.

Where can I get vaccinated?

OU Health and other providers will be offering various opportunities in the community to receive the vaccine.

COVID-19 rapid PCR or antigen tests will be accepted. “Home” tests will not be accepted.

A negative test taken within 72 hours prior to the game will allow entry, we advise planning ahead to find a location for the test and receiving the results during that window of time.

Children 12 and older must show proof of full or partial vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Because children 11 and under are not yet eligible to receive the vaccine, they do not have to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test but those ages of 2 to 11 are required to wear a mask that completely covers their nose and mouth for the duration of their visit, except when actively eating or drinking.

Unfortunately, for Blue games in November, you are unable to attend games if you don’t adhere to one of the options we are providing in order to help keep our community safe. The Blue will continue to evaluate the policy and the status of COVID in our community to determine the protocols for December and beyond.

We will accept the Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson vaccine or other COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).
