Job Posting - Corporate Partnerships Activation Associate (Part-time)

In this role you will:

  • Serve as an asset to the department, helping with a broad range of administrative support for partnership implementation
  • Track and report on sponsor promotions that take place during Thunder game nights
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of partner events
  • Manage department giveaway inventory
  • Create and organize all partner television and radio affidavits
  • Effectively comprehend, organize and present research/information internally and respond to questions
  • Share ideas for new sponsorship opportunities including, but not limited to, in-game elements, retail promotions, events, web and social media platforms, signage and community relations programs
  • Play a meaningful role in maintaining all collateral and data for use in preparing sponsor recaps
  • Be fiscally responsible, ensuring that expenses are within individually established budget guidelines
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Minimum age requirement, 18 years
  • Interest in sports business, marketing or advertising preferred
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and organization skills helping you drive projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication including strong listening skills and writing talents
  • Superior attention to detail, especially under pressure
  • A professional and positive demeanor required
  • Enjoy working with a variety of people from all demographics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with strong time management skills

Additional details:

Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered. Work schedule will include office hours plus game-night responsibilities on evenings, weekends and holidays and may include working for extended periods of time with consistent interpersonal interactions. Primary work location is Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation are needed for occasional local travel. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds and work in-arena in the presence of loud music or crowd noise and flashing or strobe lighting. College course credit may be possible upon request and with approval of your academic advisor. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to a Senior Activation Account Manager.
