Headed to Phoenix
After getting traded to San Antonio in part of the Spencer Dinwiddie-to-Washington trade, the Spurs waived Hutchison, who has since cleared waivers and signed with the Suns. The 25-year-old forward will bring depth to a crowded Suns frontcourt that includes Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder and Abdel Nader. This signing won't add much fantasy value to Hutchison as he likely won't see many minutes.

Waived by Phoenix
Alexander was on a two-way deal with the Suns after going undrafted in 2020. He averaged 0.6 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists through 3.1 minutes in 15 regular-season games during the 2020-21 campaign. The 23-year-old guard had shown some promise in Summer League after averaging 11.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22.2 minutes per game. He will now be a free agent and begin searching for a new deal elsewhere.

Rehabbing from wrist surgery
Paul was bothered by a wrist injury in the playoffs, though it became less of an issue as the postseason chugged along. That said, it was still significant enough for the veteran to need surgery -- his fourth hand surgery. There's nothing to indicate he won't be ready for training camp, however.
