The Marketing Manager role will be responsible for facilitating and executing integrated marketing campaigns for the Phoenix Suns including developing targeted media strategies and managing relationships with Marketing Partnerships to help deliver on sponsor objectives. This position will report to the Senior Director, Marketing.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute media strategies
  • Help to analyze marketing programs and translate into brand revenue results
  • Assist in development and execution of brand campaigns and promotional plans
  • Work with team to develop Hispanic marketing strategy
  • Assist with development and execution of game day promotions , customer retention programs, and other initiatives to support new revenue opportunities
  • Manage budget for advertising and trade promotions
  • Maximize brand integration opportunity with marketing partner relationships
  • Manage special events as necessary for other areas of the marketing department
  • Ensure the franchise’s brand message is executed though all the Suns assets, initiatives and programs including marketing partners

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from four-year accredited college or university
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in marketing and/or promotions/media (highly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications
  • Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary Team information
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and direct staff in a competitive, high-energy environment and industry
  • Decision making on routine decisions including budget development and allocation, resource expenditure, staffing levels, and policies and procedures
