Among the most popular and productive players in his day, Cedric Ceballos is now entertaining the crowd with a microphone instead of a basketball.

The 11-year NBA veteran is in the midst of several post-playing careers, including, arena emcee, radio personality, musician, voice-over specialist and co-host of a weekly Suns talk show right here on Suns.com.

  • Played in his 500th career game on Feb. 25, 1999.
  • Scored his 7,000th career point against the Timberwolves on March 3, 1998.
  • Selected to the 1995 NBA All-Star Game as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, but did not play due to injury.
  • Named NBA Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 19, 1995.
  • Scored 25 points in six consecutive games from Nov. 7 to Nov. 15, 1995.
  • Named NBA Player of the Month for December, 1994, when he averaged 27.8 ppg and 9.0 rpg.
  • Poured in a career-high 50 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 20, 1994.
  • Scored 25 points in each of 6 consecutive games from Nov. 7 to Nov. 15, 1995, the longest such streak for a Lakers player since Magic Johnson in 1987.
  • Led the NBA in field goal percentage (.576) in 1992-93.
  • Won the 1992 NBA slam-dunk competition at All-Star Weekend in Orlando with a blindfolded "hocus-pocus" jam which earned him a perfect score of 50.
  • Scored a game-high 32 points in the Suns' record-breaking 173-143 win over the Nuggets on Nov. 10, 1990 and became known as "The Point-a-Minute Man."
  • Drafted by the Suns out of Cal State-Fullerton with the 48th overall pick in the 1990 NBA Draft.
