New Benefit for Season Ticket Members

FAQ's

Q: WHAT IS THE SEASON TICKET TRADE-IN?
A: A new benefit that allows you to trade-in/return your tickets in exchange for “Spurs Bucks”, which can be used to Add Tickets to future games, or buy seat upgrades on game night – all done exclusively through the Spurs App.

Q: HOW MANY GAMES FROM MY PACKAGE CAN I TRADE-IN/RETURN?
A: Full Season Ticket Members in charter, plaza and balcony can return up to 10 games per season. Half-season ticket members can return up to five games and 10-game plan holders can return up to three games.
If you sit in the first two rows, please contact your premium services representative for information.
Please note: Select games, including preseason, may not be available for you to return. If the game is not eligible, we recommend posting your seats for resale on spurs.com or transferring your tickets to a friend to use.

Q: WHAT CAN I APPLY SPURS BUCKS TOWARD?
A: Spurs Bucks can be used to upgrade your seats on game night through the Spurs App or add seats (in addition to your existing season seats) to a future game.

Q: HOW MANY SPURS BUCKS DO I RECEIVE FOR THE TICKETS I TRADE-IN?
A: You receive 100% of your season ticket cost per game when you return your tickets up to 5 days before tipoff.

Q: IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEASON TICKET TRADE-IN AND MY ACCOUNT MANAGER?
A: Yes. Using Ticket Trade-In through the Fan Hub is different than managing your season tickets through Account Manager.

Q: CAN I USE MY SPURS BUCKS TOWARD SEASON TICKET PAYMENTS OR TO PURCHASE FOOD, BEVERAGE OR MERCHANDISE?
A: No, Spurs Bucks can only be used for additional seats to another game, or to upgrade your season seat location at a game.

Q: CAN MY SHARE PARTNER USE THIS FEATURE?
A: This benefit is only available for the primary account holder at this time.

Q: I’M HAVING PROBLEMS – WHO CAN I CONTACT FOR SUPPORT?
A: Support is available within the Spurs App, via email at listen@expapp.com or by contacting your service representative.

USING TRADE-IN/RETURN

Q: WHAT IS RETURN TICKETS?
A: “Return Tickets” is a feature that allows you to return tickets you can’t use in exchange for Spurs Bucks that can be used to purchase seat upgrades or additional tickets at future games.

Q: HOW DO I RETURN MY TICKETS FOR SPURS BUCKS?
A: Download the Spurs app and tap the Tickets button. Go to Manage > Trade-In. Login to the Fan Hub with the email address tied to your Season Ticket Member account. Then, tap Return Tickets button and you’ll be able to select games to exchange.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ORIGINAL SEATS WHEN I TRADE-IN/RETURN?
A: Your original seats are returned to the team and may be used by other fans who are upgrading or purchasing seats.
Q: CAN I SELL MY TICKETS ON THE SECONDARY MARKET AFTER SELECTING “RETURN TICKETS”?
A: No, your barcodes will be invalid.

Q: I USED “RETURN TICKETS” BUT THEN DECIDED I CAN ATTEND THE EVENT. CAN I CANCEL MY EXCHANGE AND GET MY ORIGINAL SEATS BACK?
A: No, all transactions are final.

Q: IF I ONLY PLAN ON USING TWO OF MY FOUR SEATS, CAN I RETURN THE OTHER TWO SEATS?
A: Yes, you select which seats are returned.

Q: CAN I RETURN GAMES OVER THE PHONE OR THROUGH EMAIL?
A: No. You may only return games through the Spurs app.

Q: WHAT CAN I APPLY SPURS BUCKS TOWARD?
A: Spurs Bucks can be used to upgrade your seats on game night through the Spurs App or add seats to a future game. We may also offer the opportunity to participate in exclusive experiences by redeeming Spurs Bucks.

Q: WHERE CAN I VIEW MY SPURS BUCKS BALANCE?
A: You can view your current balance in the Fan Hub on the Spurs App. Go to Ticket Trade-In and log in with your Season Ticket Member email address.

USING ADD/PURCHASE TICKETS

Q: WHAT IS “ADD” TICKETS?
A: Add Tickets is a mobile feature that allows you to add on or purchase seats for a future game when seats are available.

Q: WHEN CAN I USE THE ADD TICKETS FEATURE?
A: You can use the Add Tickets feature at any time during the season, for any game where inventory is available. Opportunities to use Add Tickets are always dependent on seat availability.

Q: WHERE WILL MY NEW SEATS BE LOCATED?
A: Available seat locations will vary each game. You will have the opportunity to browse through different sections based on availability.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUY SEATS?
A: Available seats are subject to pricing fluctuation.

Q: CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL SEATS USING PARTIAL SPURS BUCKS AND PARTIAL CREDIT CARD PAYMENT?
A: Yes. You can apply your Spurs Bucks toward seats and you can also use a credit card. For example, if your Spurs Bucks don’t cover the total balance you can use your credit card to pay the difference.

Q: CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL SEATS FOR MY FRIENDS, BUT KEEP MY ORIGINAL SEATS?
A: Yes, you have the option to trade-in your original seats so the entire group can sit together or purchase additional seats for your friends and keep your original seats.

GETTING TO YOUR SEATS

Q: WHAT DO I SHOW TO THE SECTION USHER?
A: You can access your new seat locations and barcodes in the Fan Hub by tapping the Ticket Trade-In button on the Spurs App. The section usher may ask you to press the Staff Validation button to verify your seats.

A: Season Ticket Trade-In is a cutting edge program and Spurs Season Ticket Members are among the first in professional sports to have access to this technology.

Q: DO SPURS BUCKS CARRY OVER FOR FUTURE SEASONS?
A: No. Spurs Bucks expire at the end of the regular season.

Q: CAN I RECEIVE CASH BACK FOR THE VALUE OF THE TICKETS I TRADE-IN THROUGH THE APP?
A: No. Spurs Bucks have no cash value.

Q: CAN I TRADE-IN TICKETS FROM A PAST EVENT?
A: No. Tickets must be returned no later than five days prior to game.

Q: CAN MY SHARE PARTNER USE THIS FEATURE?
A: This benefit is only available for the primary account holder at this time and it’s only available through the Spurs App. Membership Service reps cannot access your account or facilitate your ticket trade-in.

Q: CAN I USE MY SPURS BUCKS TOWARDS SEASON TICKET PAYMENTS OR RENEWAL?
A: No. Spurs Bucks cannot be used toward season ticket payments or renewal. Spurs Bucks can only be used for select experience offerings, additional seats to another game, or to upgrade your normal seats for a game.
