Yes, in order to use Spurs Pay you must load a form of payment to your Spurs Pay account.
Once you’ve set up your account and added your payment method, simply open the Spurs App and click on the ‘Pay’ icon. A QR code will appear and you hold your device up to the scanner. The total will be automatically charged to the card that you have linked to your Spurs Pay.
If a credit or debit card that is linked to a Spurs Pay account is declined, the Spurs Pay transaction will not process. The Spurs Pay QR code will scan, but the transaction will display an error to alert you to the fact that the payment was declined. You will need to pay using a different method.
From the home screen of Spurs Pay, click the “My Offers” button.
To redeem eligible giveaway tokens, simply navigate to the “PAY” button. You will be presented with the option to select which token you would like to redeem. You can always view which giveaway tokens are available to you within your "My Offers" page
Once your complimentary value is added to your account, that amount will automatically be deducted from your order total. If the value of your order is greater than your complimentary value, the system will charge the remaining balance to the payment method attached to your account.
Any member benefits associated with your Ticketmaster account will be automatically deducted from the balance of your transaction when using Spurs Pay. Just ensure you are logged into the Spurs app using your Ticketmaster Login and your member benefits will automatically be deducted on payment.
