SPURS ASSIGN BOBAN MARJANOVIC & RAY McCALLUM TO AUSTIN SPURS

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 4, 2015) - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned center Boban Marjanovic and guard Ray McCallum to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.

Marjanovic, 7-3/290, is averaging 1.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 3.8 minutes in 10 appearances this season, including one start at Denver on 11/27. The Serbian native is in his first year with San Antonio and made his NBA debut vs. Brooklyn on 10/30, registering season-highs of 6 points and 5 rebounds in 5 minutes of play. McCallum, 6-3/190, is averaging 1.0 points in 4.3 minutes in 10 appearances this season. The former Detroit Mercy Titan is in his third year in the NBA and his first year with the Spurs after spending two seasons with the Sacramento Kings. McCallum holds overall averages of 6.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19.3 minutes over 123 career contests (40 starts).

The assignment marks Marjanovic's first appearance in the NBA D-League, while McCallum has played seven career games with the Reno Bighorns, where he averaged 20.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.00 steals in 35.8 minutes. Both players will suit up for the Austin Spurs when they host the Westchester Knicks tonight at the Cedar Park Center at 7:30 p.m.
