San Antonio Selects Nikola Milutinov & Cady Lalanne in 2015 NBA Draft

SAN ANTONIO (June 25, 2015)- The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have selected Nikola Milutinov with the 26th overall pick and Cady Lalanne with the 55th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Milutinov, 7-0/225, is a Serbian native who has played the past three seasons for Partizan Belgrade of the Adriatic League in Serbia. In 29 games this past year he averaged 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 28.0 minutes, while shooting .573 from the field. He helped lead his team to two Serbian League Championships in 2013 and 2014 and to the Adriatic League Championship in 2013. He began his professional career in 2011 at the age of 16 playing for Hemofarm of Serbia.

The center suited up in nine Eurocup contests this past season, averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 22.4 minutes. Milutinov is a member of the Serbian National Team and has also played for the country's U-16, U-18 and U-19 National Teams, winning a silver medal at the 2013 World U-19 Championships.

Lalanne, 6-10/255, played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts from 2011-15. In his senior campaign, he averaged 11.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.91 blocks in 29.0 minutes. For his career, the center averaged 10.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.77 blocks in 25.2 minutes while shooting .553 from the field.

Born in Haiti, Lalanne helped lead UMass to an NCAA Tournament berth in 2014 and NIT appearances in 2012 and 2013. He became one of three players in UMass history to record 1,000 points, 800 rebounds and 100 blocks in a career.
