(On having Kawhi Leonard healthy for the match-up against the Heat…)
“It doesn’t matter who we’re playing. If you get a good player back, you’re always happy to that. Kawhi (Leonard) is a good player so we’re glad he’s back.”

(On Kawhi Leonard’s play since returning from injury…)
“I think in some ways he’s been a little tentative. He’s always a really willing competitor and that type of thing, but I think he’s still feeling his way in some degree. He’s done really well since he came back. Overall he can insert himself into the game a bit more, and he will. He’s also young. He’s got those other three guys out there and doesn’t want to anger anybody. I keep telling him, ‘To hell with those guys. Do what you do and we’ll figure it out later.’”

(On the Spurs’ experience with the Triquis Kids from Mexico…)
“We get a big kick out of them. When we saw them in Mexico City playing in bare feet, we challenged them to a quick game. The guys loved it. They took their shoes off, jumped on the court, and played them. Besides being really skilled kids, they’re excited; they’ve got a great sense of humor, and big time energy. Since we’ve had them in town here, going out to eat with them here and there, you can see how grateful they are and how much fun they’re having traveling as young kids. I never traveled like that when I was that age. It’s just been a give and take, and it’s been fun for everybody.”

(On making a push for the playoffs with everyone healthy…)
“I hope so. You’ve always got to take time to get your rhythm and get guys used to what they did before they got injured. I think we’ve got plenty of games to do that and to get on a track of playing well. I don’t know what our record will be, what our position will be in the playoffs. I don’t really care. I just want to be healthy like everyone else and want to be playing well. I want to have a good rhythm and a good rotation going. That’s what we’re trying to do now for the rest of the way.”
