De Colo and Thomas lead Toros to victory

The Austin Toros picked up their second consecutive win in as many nights by defeating the Delaware 87ers 131-94 Saturday evening at the Cedar Park Center led by Spurs assignees Nando De Colo and Malcolm Thomas.

De Colo led all scorers with 31 points to go along with 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. In three games with the Toros this season, De Colo is averaging 30.7 points, 7.7 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 steals while shooting .604 (32-53) from the field and .429 (9-21) from three-point range.

In his second game with the Toros, Thomas posted a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. In five D-League games this season, Thomas is averaging 25.6 points and 12.4 rebounds while shooting .630 (46-73) from the field.

The Toros will be back in action on Friday, Dec. 27 when they hit the road to take on the Tulsa 66ers.
