SAN ANTONIO – ‘Suit Up’ Spurs fans, the San Antonio Spurs today unveiled their new marketing campaign for the 2010-11 season, and it’s time to get in the game!
‘Suit Up’ and be part of the team, the energy, the fun and the excitement of Spurs basketball this season. The campaign is a call to action campaign rallying fans to join the experience and excitement at games, in the community and in pride. ‘Suit Up’, it’s Spursday. ‘Suit Up’, and Be Heard. ‘Suit Up’, in the community…’Suit Up’, San Antonio!
“’Suit Up’ is a campaign that calls for all of San Antonio; the fans, sponsors, local businesses and our community, to be part of the team, the game and the passion of Spurs basketball,” said Spurs Sports & Entertainment Vice President of Marketing and Sales Frank Miceli. “Together we make a team, and we look forward to another great season of support from the most loyal and energetic fans in the NBA.”
Created by the Spurs advertising agency, The PM Group, the campaign debuts today on the outdoor digital billboard on I-35/281 and will continue throughout the season in print, radio and broadcast communications.
“This new campaign will create a tremendous synergy for all Spurs advertising and marketing communications,” states Fran Yanity, vice president of account services for The PM Group.
Individual tickets for the first-half of the season will go on sale Sunday, Oct. 3.
