Lori Warren, EVP, Corporate Finance and Strategy
Entering her 24th year with the Spurs, Lori was named Senior Vice President in 2008 and is responsible for all financial operations & reporting, cash management, related tax matters and insurance risk management for Spurs Sports and Entertainment. Her additional responsibilities include service innovation, strategic development & business analytics, as well as the operations and facilities management for the AT&T Center.
She led the recent $110 million project to renovate the AT&T Center and has spent seven seasons as the team’s controller. Lori was named Vice President of Finance in the summer of 2000 and has been heavily involved in all financial aspects of the AT&T Center development project and opening in 2002. Prior to joining the Spurs, she worked in the audit department for KPMG in Dallas and San Antonio.
She is a certified Public Accountant with a degree in accounting from Texas A&M where she played one season of varsity tennis. Lori was selected as a member of the 2007–08 Leadership San Antonio Class 33 and was a 2007 recipient of the San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award. In 2011, she named as one of San Antonio’s Best CFOs by the San Antonio Business Journal and in 2015 selected as a Sports Business Journal Game Changer. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Bexar County and is an active volunteer with her children’s school and sports activities. She and her husband, Garren, have two sons, Chandler and Trevor.
