1 – David Robinson is the only male basketball player in U.S. history to appear in three different Olympic Games … he was the leading scorer on the 1996 Team which captured gold in Atlanta … was a member of the Dream Team that won gold in Barcelona in 1992 and was on the 1988 Team that won the bronze medal in Seoul.

2- Robinson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are the only two players in NBA history to win an NBA Rebounding Title (1991), the NBA Blocked Shots Title (1992) and the NBA Scoring Title (1994).qa

4 – Named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team four times (1991, 1992, 1995 and 1996) and the All-Defensive Second Team four times (1990, 1993, 1994 and 1998)

6 – Robinson ranks first in on the Spurs all-time leader list in six different categories (points, games, free throws made and attempted, steals and blocks)

10 – A 10-time All-Star … just one of 31 players to be named to 10 or more All-Star teams

14 – Posted 14 career triple-doubles and one quadruple-double … set an NCAA record with 14 blocks at UNC Wilmington on January 4, 1986.

15 – Named NBA Player of the Week 15 times

71 – On April 24, 1994, Robinson scored a career-high and a Spurs franchise-high 71 points in the final game of the regular season at the L.A. Clippers … thanks to his 71-point effort, Robinson edged out Shaquille O’Neal to claim the 1994 NBA Scoring Title

94 – The number of teammates the Admiral had during his 14-year career with the Spurs

123 – Robinson played in 123 playoff games with the Silver and Black which ranks second on the Spurs all-time playoff list behind Tim Duncan (160)

305 – Robinson swatted away 305 shots during the 1991-92 to win the NBA Blocked Shots Title … his 4.49 blocked shots per game that season ranks seventh on the NBA’s all-time list

381 – The Admiral handed out 381 assists during the 1993-94 season which marked the first and only time in franchise history that a Spurs player other than a guard led the team

462 – The number of games Robinson led the Spurs in scoring

.518 – Robinson’s shooting percentage for his career … the Admiral connected on 7,365 of his 14,221 field goals during his career.

888 – Robinson scored in double figures in 888 of his 987 games (90.0 percent of his career games)

2,383 – Robinson scored 2,383 points during the 1993-94 season to win the NBA Scoring Title … for the year the Admiral averaged 29.8 points … only George Gervin has scored more points in a season for the Spurs.

2,954 – The Admiral blocked 2,954 shots during his career … ranks fifth all-time on the NBA’s all-time blocked shots list

10,497 – The number of rebounds Robinson had during his career … ranks second on the Spurs all-time rebounding list and 29th on the NBA’s all-time list … one of just 33 players to pull down 10,000-plus rebounds in their career.

15,000 – Robinson was a fixture in the San Antonio Community … over 15,000 kids attended Spurs games as part of Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood

20,790 – The Admiral finished his career with 20,790 points, just one of 32 players to score 20,000 or more points in their NBA career … Robinson ranks first on the Spurs all-time NBA scoring list.

9,000,000 – Robinson and wife, Valerie, donated $9 million to help create the Carver Academy
