Cinco Vodka Opens Five Star Bar at The AT&T Center
New Bar will Feature Five Classic Cocktails Made with the Locally-Distilled, Award-Winning, Ultra-Premium Vodka
SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 10, 2014) – CINCO Vodka, San Antonio’s own award-winning spirit, has opened the first-ever CINCO Five Star Bar located in section 111 of the AT&T Center. It will offer AT&T Center guests five classic cocktails made with the locally-distilled ultra-premium vodka as well as other premium spirits, wine and beer.
The CINCO Five Star Bar cocktail lineup includes five favorites each made with CINCO Vodka and the handcrafted refreshments have been given basketball-themed monikers: The Jump Shot (vodka and tonic), The Layup (vodka and club soda), The Slam Dunk (vodka and orange juice), The Alley Oop (vodka and cranberry juice) and The All-Star (vodka and lemon/lime soda).
“We’re from San Antonio and huge Spurs fans, so we couldn’t be more excited to partner with the NBA Champions,” said Trey Azar, Master Distiller and owner of CINCO Vodka. “We’d like to invite everyone to section 111 to try San Antonio’s own, locally-distilled, award-winning vodka. CINCO Vodka cocktails are the best, if I do say so myself.”
The Azar Distillery that produces CINCO Vodka is located just minutes southeast of downtown San Antonio. Founded by Trey and Kim Azar in 2009, CINCO Vodka has taken top honors at the 2014 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, winning a Triple Gold Medal for best vodka. It was also rated “Excellent” and a “Great Value” by the 2013 Ultimate Spirits Challenge in New York and won a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition earlier this year.
CINCO uses the highest quality American wheat and follows old world European methods of distilling. They make each small batch of CINCO by hand and distill it using the finest copper pot still in Texas. This allows them to leave CINCO unfiltered, which gives it a flavor and drinkability that is simply remarkable.
The CINCO Five Star Bar is located on the plaza level concourse outside of section 111.
