The Sonics are the seventh NBA team for veteran Donyell Marshall, who has filled several roles over the course of his career - from promising youngster in Minnesota and Golden State to go-to player in Utah to role player on a championship contender in Cleveland. Marshall has averaged 15.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. A fine rebounder, Marshall has averaged a double-double twice during his career. As a veteran player, Marshall has become valuable for his ability to stretch the floor from the frontcourt, hitting at least 100 three-pointers in three straight seasons before slipping to 95 a year ago. Last June, he helped the Cavaliers advance to the NBA Finals before falling to San Antonio.
