David Locke | KTTH Play-By-Play Announcer
David Locke will take on the Sonics radio play-by-play duties for the first time this season as the team enters its new partnership with KTTH 770 AM. Locke spent the last eight NBA seasons as the host of "Sonics Talk," the Sonics radio pregame, halftime and postgame shows on Sports Radio 950 KJR AM.

For the past seven summers, Locke has also served as the play-by-play announcer for the WNBAís Seattle Storm, calling the action for preseason, regular-season and postseason games.

Locke worked in Salt Lake City for six years before arriving in Seattle. He hosted the Utah Jazz pregame, halftime and postgame shows for two seasons, served as the program director of the Jazz Radio Network and called play-by-play for the Utah Starzz of the WNBA.

Born Aug. 12, 1970 in Palo Alto, Calif., Locke earned degrees in political science and sociology from Occidental College in Los Angeles where he created and ran the Tiger Sports Radio Network.
