Sixers Announce 2016-2017 Promotional Schedule
PHILADELPHIA, PA – OCTOBER 7, 2016 – The Philadelphia 76ers have released details surrounding prominent promotional games scheduled for the 2016-17 season. The schedule includes the “Spirit of the Champion” campaign which will be highlighted by six “Salute Saturday” tribute nights presented by StubHub, an Allen Iverson Hall of Fame Night, Toyota’s annual “Stars and Stripes” Military Appreciation Night, and more. Promotions include multiple t-shirt and poster giveaways, and $1 Hot Dog and $1 Pretzel Nights. The team will reveal the four artists performing in the Coors Light Halftime Concert Series presented by Coors Light later this fall; as well as announce a special opening night halftime performance. Other promotional nights include Rocky 40th Anniversary Night, Tastykake Day, PECO Go Green Night, Mummers Night, High School Reunion Night, Autism Awareness Night, Franklin’s Birthday, Local Olympians Night, Chinese New Year and more.
The Sixers tip-off their regular season on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a nationally televised game on ESPN. Fans attending the opening night game will receive a promotional t-shirt courtesy of Independence Blue Cross.
