PHILADELPHIA, PA – OCTOBER 7, 2016 – The Philadelphia 76ers have released details surrounding prominent promotional games scheduled for the 2016-17 season. The schedule includes the “Spirit of the Champion” campaign which will be highlighted by six “Salute Saturday” tribute nights presented by StubHub, an Allen Iverson Hall of Fame Night, Toyota’s annual “Stars and Stripes” Military Appreciation Night, and more. Promotions include multiple t-shirt and poster giveaways, and $1 Hot Dog and $1 Pretzel Nights. The team will reveal the four artists performing in the Coors Light Halftime Concert Series presented by Coors Light later this fall; as well as announce a special opening night halftime performance. Other promotional nights include Rocky 40th Anniversary Night, Tastykake Day, PECO Go Green Night, Mummers Night, High School Reunion Night, Autism Awareness Night, Franklin’s Birthday, Local Olympians Night, Chinese New Year and more.

The Sixers tip-off their regular season on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a nationally televised game on ESPN. Fans attending the opening night game will receive a promotional t-shirt courtesy of Independence Blue Cross. Tickets are on-sale now at 215-339-7676 and SIXERS.COM via the team’s official new ticketing platform on StubHub for all individual game tickets, providing fans with tools to help search for and easily purchase and exchange Sixers tickets, all in a single destination.

Philadelphia 76ers 2016-17 Theme Nights and Promotions Include:

Opening Night presented by Independence Blue Cross: Wednesday, October 26 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (8 p.m.)

All fans in attendance will receive a Sixers Opening Night t-shirt, presented by Independence Blue Cross.

Spirit of the Champion:

The season-long campaign celebrating the 1966-67 World Champion Sixers team will include six “Salute Saturday” night tribute games presented by StubHub on Saturday, November 5 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (7 p.m.), Saturday, November 19 vs. Phoenix Suns (7:30 p.m.), Saturday, December 3 vs. Boston Celtics (7:30
p.m.), Saturday, February 11 vs. Miami Heat (7:30 p.m.), Saturday, March 4 vs. Detroit Pistons (6 p.m.), and Saturday, April 8 vs. Milwaukee Bucks (7 p.m.). During each tribute game Sixers players will wear hardwood classics throwback jerseys inspired by the 1966-67 team road uniforms featuring a commemorative patch on the shorts. Tribute nights additionally include a first-ever commemorative center court signed by Sixers 2016-17 Full Season Ticket Members, the unveiling of 1966-67 player sculptures by Philadelphia-based Fisher Sculpture, and 1966-67 team alumni visits.

Coors Light Halftime Concert Series:

Musical guests will perform alongside Sixers Dancers, Phlight Squad, and mascot Franklin during four Friday night Coors Light Halftime Series concerts on Friday, December 2 vs. Orlando Magic (7 p.m.), Friday, January 20 vs. Portland Trail Blazers (7 p.m.), Friday, March 3 vs. New York Knicks (7 p.m.), and Friday, March 17 vs. Dallas Mavericks (7 p.m.). The Sixers will additionally host a Rock the House Night on Wednesday, November 30 vs. Sacramento Kings (7 p.m.).

“Made in Phila” Night: Monday, February 27 vs. Golden State Warriors (7 p.m.)

Sixers fans will be encouraged to wear Sixers blue to celebrate their team pride during a game night devoted entirely to the passion and dedication of the Philadelphia sports fans which will include a special t-shirt giveaway for all attendees.

Giveaways:

During five games this season Sixers fans will receive unique player posters featuring current Sixers team members on Monday, November 7 vs. Utah Jazz (7 p.m.), Monday, December 5 vs. Denver Nuggets (7 p.m.), Wednesday, January 11 vs. New York Knicks (7 p.m.), Tuesday, January 24 vs. LA Clippers (7 p.m.), and Wednesday, March 29 vs. Atlanta Hawks (7 p.m.). Pennsylvania Lottery will give away BOGO Mega Millions Coupons to all attending fans on Friday, March 17 vs. Dallas Mavericks (7 p.m.) and Saturday, April 8 vs. Milwaukee Bucks (7 p.m.).

Allen Iverson Hall of Fame Night: Friday, December 16 vs. Los Angeles Lakers (8 p.m.)

The Sixers will honor guest and Sixers legend Allen Iverson on his recent induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

“Stars and Stripes Night” presented by Toyota: Friday, November 11 vs. Indiana Pacers (7 p.m.)

The Sixers and Toyota will honor the nation's service men, women, and their families during the team’s annual “Stars and Stripes Night” presented by Toyota. The first 5,000 Sixers fans to enter will receive a special co-branded Sixers and Toyota giveaway item.

Tastykake Day presented by Tastykake: Sunday, November 27 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers (1:00 pm)

The first 5,000 Sixers fans in attendance will receive a co-branded Sixers and Tastykake giveaway item.

Fan Appreciation Night: Saturday, April 8 vs. Milwaukee Bucks (7 p.m.)

Fans can expect surprises, prizes, giveaways, and themed videos throughout the game at the Sixers Annual Fan Appreciation Night.

$1 Hot Dog and $1 Pretzel Nights:

The Sixers will hold two $1 Hot Dog Nights on Saturday, November 19 vs. Phoenix Suns (7:30 p.m.) and Wednesday, March 29 vs. Atlanta Hawks (7 p.m.). Two $1 Pretzel Nights will be held on Tuesday, December 20 vs. New Orleans Pelicans (7 p.m.) and Tuesday, January 24 vs. LA Clippers (7 p.m.).

Heritage Nights:

Indian Heritage Night will be held on Saturday, December 3 vs. Boston Celtics (7:30 p.m.), Jewish Heritage Night on Sunday, December 18 vs. Brooklyn Nets (6 p.m.), Hispanic Heritage Night on Friday, March 3 vs.
