Harris Finishes Trip Strong

Tobias Harris was, simply put, the man Sunday in Cleveland.

“Going into this game, [our mindset] was we need to win,” Harris said following his team’s 114-95 victory at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Making the most of his 31 minutes, Harris burst for 27 points on an impressive 12-14 shooting.

He also added five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks.

The Sixers held a 25-point lead after three quarters. When the Cavs began mounting a comeback and cut the lead to 15, Harris stepped in to put the game away.

With just under six minutes remaining, the 6-foot-8 wing went on an 8-0 run that would deliver the final blow.

Harris, ever the ultimate pro, credited his teammates for getting him looks.

“[I] took what was there for me, took what the defense gave me, and got in a flow and a good rhythm,” Harris said postgame.

As the Sixers head back to Philadelphia to play 13 of the next 18 games, the decisive win in Cleveland sets quite the tone.

“I thought coming in we had a great mindset,” Harris said. “We had a mindset of just getting this W and playing well.”

Headed back to a home-heavy stretch, that mindset will be key, with Harris leading the charge.
