Putting the team on his back
Playing without leading scorer Evan Turner (Indiana) and frontcourt-mate Spencer Hawes (Cleveland) for the first time since the trade deadline, forward Thaddeus Young came up big Friday, posting 30 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and seven steals. Amazingly, going into the Friday's game, only Hakeem Olajuwon had ever accomplished that feat, doing so in 1987. Young attempted 29 shots in the game, five more than his previous career high.

The New Guys
Sixers head coach Brett Brown said Sunday that at least three of his new additions – Eric Maynor, Byron Mullens, and Henry Sims – will suit up against the Bucks. With just eight other healthy players on the roster, Brown expects to get the newcomers some early burn.
