Dignitas Signs ‘LOD' and Coaches Jung Su Kim, Jae Seok Park to League of Legends Team

‘LOD’ to Join Elite Team Including Top Players ‘SSUMDAY', ‘CHASER', ‘XPECIAL' and ‘KEANE’

PHILADELPHIA, PA – DECEMBER 20, 2016 –  Iconic eSports franchise Team Dignitas has signed former Team EnVyUs AD Carry Benjamin “LOD” deMunck and top international coaches Jung Su Kim and Jae Seok Park to its 2017 North American League Championship Series (LCS) team.  Canadian-born “LOD” and Los Angeles-based Support Alex “Xpecial” Chu will join the South Korean-based coaches and superstars Top Laner Chan-ho “Ssumday” Kim, Jungler Sang-hyun “Chaser” Lee and Mid Laner Lae-Young "Keane" Jang in Seoul for pre-season boot camp.  The team will compete together for the first time at the NA LCS Spring Split on January 21, 2017 at the Riot Studios in Los Angeles, California.

LOD led his team to the playoffs with a strong performance during his rookie season in the NA LCS with the second highest KDA among all ADC’s in the league. Known for his strong team fighting prowess, LOD ranked near the top in all ADC statistical categories.

Leading international coaches Jung Su Kim and Jae Seok Park bring a wealth of experience to the Team Dignitas squad.  Known for his focus on player development, Coach Kim led the Samsung Galaxy LoL team to a second place finish in the 2016 World Championship; Coach Park has a long history of coaching top LPL and LCK teams.
