Twitter Voting
To vote via Twitter, the user must have a Twitter account and have the ‘protect my tweets’ option unchecked under the account’s privacy settings. Tweet, retweet or reply with a hashtag of an NBA player’s first and last name (#FirstNameLastName) or Twitter handle, along with the hashtag #NBAAllStar. Each tweet may include only one player’s name or handle. Fans may vote for 10 unique players per day from Jan. 28 – Feb. 16.
All Twitter votes will be accepted under the following rules and regulations:
- To vote for the NBA All-Star Ballot via Twitter, voters must Tweet with #NBAAllStar and include the first and last name of the player that they want to see play in the All-Star game
- Voters can submit a maximum of 10 valid votes per Twitter handle per day. Each of the 10 votes per day must be for a different player in the NBA
- Tweets must include the NBA All Star Ballot hashtag – #NBAAllStar – to be counted as valid votes
- Each Tweet must only include a vote for 1 player
- Retweets will count as valid votes
- Voting window is from Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 (NOON ET) – Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 (11:59:59 PM ET)
- Valid votes would need to include a player’s first and last name (eg. John Wall or JohnWall)
