(3) Sacramento Kings vs. (2) Los Angeles Lakers
All the Kings' Men
The Kings took the eventual world champion Lakers to five games in last year's first round. Now they've moved from an 8 seed to a 3 seed, and get L.A. in round two. To win, they need a strong performance from the bench. Plus, they'll need to shut down the Lakers supporting cast. Kobe and Shaq will get their points, but if the Kings can stop Fisher, Fox etc., then they'll have a good shot. Of course, Chris Webber and Peja Stojakovic will have to carry the lion's share of the offensive load for Sacramento.

Sacramento vs. LA Lakers Webber (4) is the center of the Kings' offense; almost everything goes through him.

Doug Christie (13) feeds Webber (4) in the post and screens for Peja (16). The Lakers must focus on Webber when he has the ball down low.

Sacramento vs. LA Lakers Rick Fox (17) anticipates a basket cut by Peja (16), but instead he gets a screen from Vlade Divac (21) and heads for the corner.

Webber (4), a great passer, spots Peja and gives him a skip pass. Peja knocks down the corner jumper for two.
