PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Off the bench, Dennis Schröder averaged 14.7 points (tied for sixth in the NBA), 3.8 assists (fifth), 2.3 points off turnovers (tied for third) and 2.1 fast break points (fifth). The only Thunder reserve to hold a higher scoring average was James Harden in 2011-12 with 16.9 points per contest. On 4/10 at Milwaukee, went a careerbest 8-for-15 from the three-point line to post a game-leading and season-high-tying 32 points, five rebounds, three assists and game-best four steals, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. On 2/1 at Miami, went a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor in the second quarter, the best shooting in a single quarter ever by a Thunder player (Anthony Morrow 8-8 FG on 11/12/14). Additionally, he went 4-for-4 from beyond the arc. The last NBA player to shoot as well in a quarter was Klay Thompson (13-13 FG, 9-9 3FG on 1/23/15). He finished with 28 points (11-13 FG, 4-6 3FG, 2-2 FT). Posted three double-doubles, grabbing doubledigit rebounds once and dishing out double-digit assists twice.

BEFORE NBA

Helped lead the German National Team to the 2017 EuroBasket quarterfinals in Israel and Turkey. Started all five games for Germany in the 2015 EuroBasket Tournament, posting a team-best 21.0 points and 6.0 assists, while adding 4.6 rebounds in 30.4 minutes per contest and shooting 48.1 percent from the field. Scored 29 points and added seven assists and four boards on 9/9/15. Played for the New York Phantoms Braunschweig in Germany’s top league (Beko League/Bundesliga) in 2012-13 where he appeared in 31 games and averaged 11.9 points and 3.3 assists in 24.7 minutes while shooting 40.2 percent from three-point range. Selected to the All-Star game. Also saw action in Germany’s third division, Pro B, with Spot Up Medien Baskets Braunschweig, averaging 23.5 points (second in the league), 5.1 assists (eighth in the league), 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals (eighth in the league) in eight games, shooting 39.9 percent from the field. Played in 30 games in 2011-12 with NY Phantoms Braunschweig and put up 2.3 points in 8.0 minutes. Also spent 23 games with Spot Up Medien Baskets Braunschweig, averaging 19.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals in 31.9 minutes, shooting 45.0 percent from the floor. In 2010-11, split time between Spot Up Medien Baskets Braunschweig (7.8 points and 2.1 assists in 18.3 minutes over 22 games, shooting 50.4 percent) and SG Braunschweig (20.6 points, 5.7 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals in 35.8 minutes over 11 games). Posted 7.1 points and 2.7 assists in 21.8 minutes in 14 games with SG Braunschweig in 2009-10. PERSONAL LIFE

Mother is Gambian and late father was German. Has two brothers and two sisters. Played soccer and skateboarded until learning basketball at age 11. Was the only active NBA player to participate in the NBA’s annual ping-pong tournament during NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in 2014, which benefitted the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Favorite food is chicken alfredo. Favorite movie is “I Am Legend” and favorite TV show is “Two and a Half Men.” Likes listening to R&B and Hip-Hop. Top vacation destinations are Gambia and South Africa.
