Off the bench, Dennis Schröder averaged 14.7
points (tied for sixth in the NBA), 3.8 assists
(fifth), 2.3 points off turnovers (tied for third) and
2.1 fast break points (fifth). The only Thunder
reserve to hold a higher scoring average was
James Harden in 2011-12 with 16.9 points per
contest. On 4/10 at Milwaukee, went a careerbest
8-for-15 from the three-point line to post a
game-leading and season-high-tying 32 points,
five rebounds, three assists and game-best four
steals, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity
stripe. On 2/1 at Miami, went a perfect 9-for-9
from the floor in the second quarter, the best
shooting in a single quarter ever by a Thunder
player (Anthony Morrow 8-8 FG on 11/12/14).
Additionally, he went 4-for-4 from beyond the
arc. The last NBA player to shoot as well in a
quarter was Klay Thompson (13-13 FG, 9-9 3FG
on 1/23/15). He finished with 28 points (11-13
FG, 4-6 3FG, 2-2 FT). On 11/21 at Golden State,
became just the third player in Thunder history
to produce at least 30 points off the bench as
he went 12-of-19 from the floor to finish with a
season and game-best 32 points, four rebounds
and four assists, also draining five of his six
three-point attempts to set a new career high.
On 4/7 at Minnesota, went 8-of-15 to score a
bench-leading 21 points. On 4/5 vs. Detroit,notched his third double-double of the season
with 14 points and 10 assists while tacking on
seven rebounds. On 3/25 at Memphis, recorded
25 points on 9-of-14 shooting, three rebounds
and three assists. On 3/22 at Toronto, went 10-
for-16 from the floor, 4-for-7 from the field and
2-for-2 from the free throw line en route to 26
points, six rebounds, seven assists and a block.
On 3/11 at Utah, went 10-of-18 to tally 24 points,
seven rebounds and three assists. On 3/3 vs.
Memphis, earned his second double-double of
the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds to
go along with a team-best six assists and two
steals. On 2/5 vs. Orlando, scored 20 points
by going 9-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-2
from three-point range. On 12/28 at Phoenix,
registered 20 points, six assists, four rebounds
and two steals. On 12/12 at New Orleans,
drained four shots from beyond the arc en route
to 24 points, four assists and three rebounds.
On 12/10 vs. Utah, tallied 23 points, six assists,
four rebounds and two steals. On 11/23 vs.
Charlotte, went 4-of-8 from three-point range to
finish with 23 points, five rebounds and three
steals. On 12/14 vs. New York, produced his
first double-double of the season with 15 points
and 12 assists. On 11/12 vs. Phoenix, drained
each of his two shot attempts from beyond
the arc to register 20 points, nine assists,
five rebounds and four steals. Led the team
in assists 10 times and in scoring four times.
Scored in double figures 64 times and over 20
points 21 times, logging two 30-point outings.
Posted three double-doubles, grabbing doubledigit
rebounds once and dishing out double-digit
assists twice.
