blocks. On 10/28 vs. Phoenix, produced his first doubledouble
of the season with 20 points and 15 rebounds
along with two assists and four steals. Led the team in
rebounding twice. Scored 10+ points seven times and 20+
points twice. Notched two double-doubles. Missed one

BEFORE NBA
In lone season at Kentucky (2012-13), averaged 10.5
points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.1 steals and an NCAAbest
4.4 blocks while shooting 59.0 percent from the floor
(99-166). Named SEC Defensive Player of the Year, SEC
Rookie of the Year and First Team All-SEC. Despite only
playing in 24 games, led the conference in total blocks
with 106 on the season. Joined Anthony Davis as the only
players in UK history to record at least 50 steals and 50
blocks in the same season. Recorded at least five blocks
in half of his 24 games played, including a school-record
12 rejections in the win at Mississippi (1/29). Recorded five
double-doubles. Logged 14 games in double-digit scoring.
Notched nine games with at least 10 rebounds. Finished

15 points, 11 rebounds, a season-high six assists, four
steals and seven blocks. Set season highs of 19 points
on 7-of-10 field goals and 14 rebounds to go with three
assists and two blocks on 2/2 at Texas A&M. Finished with
10 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks vs. South Carolina
on 2/5. Wrapped up a streak of three straight doubledoubles
with 10 points and 12 rebounds on 2/9 vs. Auburn.
Suffered a torn ACL in his left knee at Florida on 2/12 and
missed the remainder of the season.
PERSONAL LIFE
Son of Dorcina Noel. Has two older brothers and one
younger sister. Favorite sports team outside of basketball
is the New England Patriots. Enjoys playing video
games. Lists Lil Uzi Vert as his favorite music artist and
Will Smith as his favorite actor. The best moment of his
career was making the NBA playoffs for the first time.
Claims Denzel Washington as his celebrity look-alike. If
he didn’t play basketball, he would be an FBI agent. Works
with POWERforward International, Inc. in Haiti, which is
a nonprofit organization that inspires underprivileged
children to achieve more through education.
