On July 11, 2022, Burks was traded to the Detroit Pistons. He spent the next two seasons with the Detroit. Burks averaged 21.5 minutes, 12.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. On February 8, 2024, Burks was traded to the Knicks, marking his second stint with New York.
