COLLEGE: Played three collegiate seasons at Santa Clara where he appeared in 84 career games (74 starts) and averaged 12.6 points while shooting 46.9 percent from the floor. Williams joins the elite company of Ken Sears (4th in 1955), Bud Ogden (13th in 1969) and Steve Nash (15th in 1996) as first round selections to come out of Santa Clara. 

PERSONAL LIFE

His parents are Ronald and Nicole Williams, who were both members of the U.S. Air Force. Has one younger brother and an older sister. Williams was born in Denver, Colorado, but moved to Arizona when he was seven years old. Volunteered at Feed My Starving Children during high school.
