His father, Joe, and his uncle served in the Iraqi Freedom War ... His father played football and participated in track in 1995-96 at the University of Cincinnati ... His great grandfather served as the commissioner of the Indiana High School Athletic Association and was inducted into the football and basketball Indiana High School halls of fame ...
