Was not drafted by the NBA out of college in 2018…signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 3, 2018…waived by Sacramento on Oct. 4, 2018…signed as a free agent by the HEAT to a two-way contract on Jan. 8, 2020.

INTERNATIONAL:

National Team: Represented the Nigeran National Team at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China…appeared in all five games and averaged 11.4 points (.500 FG%, .714 FT%), 1.2 rebounds, 1.60 steals, 0.6 assists and 18.6 minutes…ranked second on the team in scoring average…scored 23 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with 0.3 seconds left against Poland on Aug. 24.

BEFORE NBA

Played four seasons at UC Santa Barbara…appeared in 113 career games (105 starts) and averaged 12.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.03 steals and 29.7 minutes while shooting 40.9 percent from the floor, 37.6 percent from three-point range and 76.9 percent from the foul line…finished his career as the Guachos’ all-time leader in three-point field goals made and also in the Top 10 in both steals (7th) and points (9th)…earned Second Team All-Big West honors as a senior after starting all 32 games and averaging 12.4 points (.450 FG%, .805 FT%), 3.3 assists, 1.9 rebounds, 1.09 steals and 29.1 minutes…topped the Big West in assist-to-turnover ratio as a senior in 2017-18…scored a career-high 28 points vs. Long Beach State on Mar. 1, 2018…started all 20 games in which he appeared as a junior in 2016-17 and averaged a career-high 14.8 points (.355 FG%, .762 FT%), 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 32.0 minutes…suffered a season-ending injury to his left knee on Feb. 2 at Cal State Fullerton…despite missing the final eight games of the season he led the Gauchos in points, scoring average and three-point field goals made and ranked second in minutes played…earned Honorable Mention All-Big West honors as a sophomore in 2015-16 after averaging 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.24 steals and 32.0 minutes in a 33 games (32 starts)…had career highs in games played, starts, minutes, points, field goals made and attempted, three-point field goals made and attempted, offensive, defensive and total rebounds and steals…led the team in three-point field goals made with 80, the third highest single-season total in school history…had a season-high 27 points and a career-high seven three-pointers in a Jan. 14 win at Cal Poly…was named the Big West Freshman of the Year in 2014-15 after averaging 10.1 points (.424 FG%, .660 FT%), 2.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 26.2 minutes in 28 games (21 starts)…was second on the team in three-pointers with 57, the second highest total by a freshman in UCSB history.

PERSONAL LIFE

Full name is Gabriel Nnamdi Vincent…is the son of Dr. Franklyn and Dr. Cynthia Vincent…has two brothers (Justin and Benjamin)…graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Religion Studies and a minor in History…chose his college major because he attended religious schools throughout his education and always had an interest of the history and significance of religion…his most prized possession is his grandfather’s vinyl record collection…credits his parents for being very influential in his life as he derived his morals, values and work ethic from them…his parents attended every one of his college games both home and away during his career at UC Santa Barbara…in his free time he enjoys discovering new music and artists, watching movies and different TV series…is in the process of finalizing a business, Allergic to Missing…his business would allow him to use his platform as a professional athlete to inspire and motivate others to reach their dreams…is involved with the Luc Strong Foundation which supports families with sickle cell disease…was named to the Academic All-Big West Team as a junior at UC Santa Barbara during the 2016-17 season…was a member of the Principal’s Honor Roll at St. Mary’s High School…averaged 22.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.1 steals per game as a senior at St. Mary’s High School and led his team to a 27-2 record…was named the All-Area Player of the Year by the Stockton Record…also earned First Team All-Sac-Joaquin Section and First Team All-Tri-City Athletic League honors at St. Mary’s…wears size 13 sneakers.
