AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Come Together Foundation and the Detroit Pistons are proud to partner with Toys for Tots to bring holiday cheer to underprivileged children of southeast Michigan this year.
As part of the NBA Cares “Season of Giving,” the Detroit Pistons and Toys for Tots efforts will culminate on Dec. 20 with a special holiday party for kids in need at The Palace. Fifty children and their families are invited for a dinner with Pistons players, Brandon Knight, Andre Drummond and Corey Maggette and Palace Sports & Entertainment staff. Through the generosity of private donations to Toys for Tots, Pistons players and entertainment personalities will give the children toys and other presents from the Detroit Pistons.
To help make the holidays a little brighter for those in need, Pistons fans are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at The Palace on this Friday, December 21 when the Pistons play the Washington Wizards at 7:30 p.m. With each gift or cash donation, Pistons fans will receive a $5 gift card redeemable at all Pistons’ Locker Room Store locations.
The Detroit Pistons are also donating $5 per ticket to Toys for Tots from the sale of a limited number of $37, 200-level seats, to the Pistons game against the Miami Heat on Dec. 28. Tickets are available at Pistons.com/toysfortots (SPECIAL CODE: pistonstoys).

In addition to this week’s toy donations, Palace Sports & Entertainment employees hosted a Toys for Tots drive of their own at their annual employee holiday party and proceeds from this past Saturday’s Pistons 50/50 Payday were donated to benefit Toys for Tots throughout Michigan. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Robert Stoddard, a 15-year veteran, coordinated the Marines and Toys for Tots volunteers who sold tickets at The Palace, resulting in the raffle’s second highest jackpot.
