With all the excitement and development in The District Detroit and beyond, there will be noticeable signs of progress – and ongoing construction. Plan to arrive early when attending an event and enjoy one of four Little Caesars Arena restaurants – open on event and non-event days – or any one of the establishments in the area.

Pre-paid parking ensures you a spot in the lot or garage of your choice. Check out Ticketmaster.com, Parkwhiz.com or The District Detroit app to secure your parking before you arrive. Most Olympia Development lots are credit card only.

Ridesharing drop-off and pickup for services such as Uber are on the I-75 service drive between Park Street and Woodward Avenue.

For the comfort and safety of our guests, Little Caesars Arena and its surrounding areas are non-smoking and re-entry to the arena after exiting is not allowed.

An updated no-bag policy has been implemented, permitting no bags, other than those required for medical reasons, into our venues. Clear bags will no longer be permitted.

The Little Caesars Arena bag policy allows soft-sided bags and briefcases smaller than 14” x 14” by 6”. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted as well. Hard-sided bags of any kind are prohibited. All persons and bags exiting or entering the arena are subject to inspection. Click here for a list of prohibited items.
Prohibited Items
To ensure the safety of all fans, any carry-in parcels may be checked by Little Caesars Arena security.
Prohibited items at Little Caesars Arena include, but are not limited to:
- Weapons (including guns and knives of all sizes)
- Aerosol cans
- Fireworks
- Frisbees
- Beverages (in any type of container)
- Coolers
- Outside food and beverage of any kind
- Mace or Pepper Spray
- Poles, selfie-sticks, missile-like objects that can be thrown
- Strollers
- Tripods
- Beach balls or other inflatable objects
- Bats, hockey sticks and clubs
- Whistles and Horns. Foghorns/airhorns and plastic horns, such as vuvuzelas and didgeridoos
- Laser pointers or any similar devices
- Optical Illusions. Items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels or umbrellas.
- Large Banners and Flags: guests are not permitted to use or wave flags, banners, signs or other items that are affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material and that is more than 18 inches in length. Teams are also prohibited from providing such items to fans either by sale or giveaway.
- Drones
- Hard-sided bags
- Umbrellas with pointed tips (non-pointed tip umbrellas are permitted)
- Backpacks (with the exception of single-compartment drawstring bags that meet the NBA bag-size requirements and media backpacks that have been screened at the media entrance. Purses and diaper bags that, while having the appearance of backpacks, will be allowed provided that they meet the 14 x 14 x 6 size requirement)
- Illegal substances
- Any form of marijuana
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses exceeding 80mm
- iPads, GoPros, laptops and other tablets
Use of any prohibited item must be reported to Arena Security and the item must be confiscated.

Doors to Little Caesars Arena generally open 1.5 hours prior to start time for Pistons games and will vary for concerts and other shows – check event details for more information.

The Little Caesars Arena Via concourse is open to the public on most days. Guests will pass through security screening to enter the facility.
